In trial: BrowZine, a current awareness and browsing tool for e-journalls

A new tool for current awareness and browsing is in trial for researchers and master students at KU Leuven. It's an app/tool that lets you browse, read and monitor scholarly journals.

• view tables of contents of our available journals from major international publishers on one single platform [List of publishers]
• get alerts when new journal issues are published
• read or save full articles, and export them into Zotero, Mendeley, RefWorks DropBox or Box accounts
• create customised bookshelves for your favourite journal titles
• sort journals not only alphabetically by title, but also by journal rank (Scimago)

Are you a researcher or master student at KU Leuven? Test BrowZine and let us know what you think. The trial runs until March the 19th. Based on your feedback, KU Leuven Libraries will decide if BrowZine will become a permanent library service.

The tool is integrated with Limo: during the trial, you will find links to BrowZine from a lot of search results. They allow you to navigate from an article to other articles in the same journal, or to easily download the PDF of the article.
