2. Select up to five disciplines. Select the "Prefer new material" option if you want to rank newer material higher in your results. Click OK.
NB. Your preferences will be saved if you are logged in.
3. Your preferences are now displayed in the left sidebar. An ellipsis below the list of preferences indicates that you have selected more preferences than are visible
4. When searches are performed with any personalize ranking preference selected,the Personalized button will appear above the search results. You can click this button to remove the personalized ranking for individual searches.
5. You can see which options have been selected by hovering the cursor over the button.
NB. The number of results doesn't change: the results are not filtered, only the ranking is different.
